Lydia learned at an early age to appreciate all the beauty that grew in her grandmother’s garden.  With a childhood of summers spent with her beloved Gramma, they grew everything from beautiful Gerber daisies to Beefsteak tomatoes.  Many happy times and memories go back to Gramma’s garden during those summers so long ago.

Lydia continues to develop her love of the garden and has turned her interests to succulents. She was given a gift of a jade plant over 35 years ago and it’s stll growing today along with many other succulent varieties in her at-home greenhouse. She has come to appreciate these very resourceful plants. Succulents endure through difficult and even neglectful circumstances and still seem to thrive with an amazing will to live.

While spending many years experimenting with container gardens for her own personal garden and at the urging of friends and family, in 2012, Lydia started her own business,
So far, the Jacksonville/Savannah/St. Augustine/Orlando area art and farmer’s markets have been a successful outlet for fun, profit and meeting new like-minded folks.

Lydia lives with her husband, Barry, in Vilano Beach, FL with their tribe of three cats, two Jack Russell Terriers, one box turtle and several dozen goldfish.
While continuing to develop new ideas and designs in her greenhouse, Lydia dabbles with photography and also travels whenever she can to meet new friends who share her love of succulents.

” It thrills me when folks compliment my work.

I’m doing what I like to do and sharing with people who are also

interested in the succulents I love. What could be better?”
